3. The Bible was presented to the Archbishop of Assam

On December 18, 2005, a copy of this Bible was presented to the Archbishop of Assam, Thomas Menamparampil, at Don Bosco School, Guwahati, to be sent as a Christmas gift to the 16th Pope Benedict of the Vatican.

4. International Buddha Peace Award 2025 and Gaurav Sree Samman

International Buddha Peace Award 2025 and Gaurav Sree Samman were received from Assam’s Governor, Shri Laxman Prasad Acharya. Organized by Maitry Peace Foundation, the ceremony recognized contributions to peace and social service.

5. Awarded an Honorary Doctorate

On March 23, 2014, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the World Record University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

6. Press Club of India

On March 2, 2020, The Holy Bible written in Mirror Language was officially released at the Press Club of India in New Delhi, in a grand ceremony attended by many prominent educationists and social activists.

7. Mirror Language version of Namghosa

Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, released the Mirror Language version of Namghosa during the 15th biannual central session of the All Assam Bengali Youth-Student Federation.

8. The 92nd All India Conference of the Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan held at Bolpur, Shantiniketan

On January 6, 2025, at the 92nd All India Conference of the Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan held at Bolpur, Shantiniketan, Dr. Swapan Kumar Dutta, former Vice-Chancellor of Visva-Bharati University, unveiled Eso, Manush Hao in Mirror Language. Inspired by this honor, he completed Gitanjali by Rabindranath Tagore and Munamadan by Nepali poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota on January 25, 2025. He is currently working on Guru Gobind Sahib in English and Rigveda in Hindi in Mirror Language.

9. A documentary on Dr. Uttam Das’s life

National award-winning Assamese film director Arup Manna, known for films like Aidew, along with producer Ranu Roy (noted writer and film producer from Kolkata), and associate director Darshana Hazarika from Lakhimpur, have finished filming and editing a feature documentary on Dr. Uttam Das’s life, to be released in Assamese, Bengali, and English.
